Making millet raab is very easy. For this you will need some special things present in the kitchen.

  • Bajra flour- 4 tbsp
  • Jaggery or powdered jaggery – 1 tablespoon
  • Celery- 1 tablespoon
  • Ghee- 2 tbsp
  • Dry ginger powder- 1 tsp
  • Water- 2 cups
  • Dry fruits- 1 tbsp

method of making

  • First of all, heat ghee in a big vessel and add carom seeds to it and fry it well.
  • When the celery is roasted properly in ghee, then add millet flour to it and cook.
  • After this add jaggery, salt, ginger powder and water in the mixture.
  • Now you have to cook this mixture properly. While cooking the millet mixture, make sure that there are no lumps in it.
  • After it comes to a boil, cook the millet mixture for 5 minutes.
  • Your millet raab is ready for consumption.
  • Now pour the millet raab in a serving glass and serve with chopped dry fruits.
