U19 WC: India beat England to win Under-19 World Cup title for 5th time

India have won the Indian Under-19 Team title for the record 5th time. The team defeated England by 4 wickets in the final (Under-19 World Cup).

Batting first after winning the toss, England were all out for 189 in 44.5 overs. Fast bowler Raj Bawa took 5 wickets for 31 runs. This is the best performance of a bowler in the final.

Left-arm pacer Ravi Kumar also took four wickets. In reply, India reached the target by 6 wickets in 47.4 overs. Captain Yash Dhull is the third Delhi captain to win the World Cup. Earlier, Virat Kohli and Unmukt Chand have also won titles. The English team missed out on winning the second title.

Chasing a target of 190, the North Indian team did not get off to a good start. Angkrish Raghuvanshi got out at zero on the second ball. Earlier, he had performed brilliantly.

He scored 278 runs with the help of one hundred and fifty. After this Harnoor Singh and vice-captain Shaik Rasheed took charge of the team. Both took the score to 49 runs. But Harnoor could not play a big inning again and was dismissed for 21 runs.
