Karen Lucille ‘Lucy’ Hale was born on June 14, 1989 in Memphis, Tennessee to Julia (Caperton) Knight and John Preston Hale. He has an older sister, Maggie, and a half-brother, Wes. He is the youngest of them. He started taking singing lessons from the age of eight and then came acting. In the summer of 2003, she participated in Fox’s American Idol reality show American Juniors, then as Lucy Hale, to become part of the 5-piece pop band and make her dreams come true. 

In the show, he sang the   80’s song Call me and in one fell swoop he stole into the hearts of millions and of course became a member of the 5-member team. The group has performed on various television shows such as An American Idol Christmas, entertainment Tonight and Nickelodeon’s Slime Time Live. The team also released an album. After the American Juniors broke up, he pursued his other passion of acting.
