EARLY YEARS (1994-2009)
Harry Edward Styles was born on February 1, 1994 in Redditch, England. Styles Holmes grew up in Chapel and spent his youth in Chesire County, UK. NAME USE CLAIM
In April 2012, the US band, also known as One Direction, formed a lawsuit in 2009 to sue the British band over their name in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. After receiving no feedback from the band, they attacked Simon Cowell’s company.
More than a million in damages have been sought from record labels Syco and Sony Music, otherwise the British will have to change their name. Earlier in the summer, however, the more famous One Direction sued Americans, claiming that in February 2011, when their name was defended, the British band had already achieved international success, and the publisher said Americans were just trying to make money and fame from their namesake.
In September 2012, the BBC reported that the British had won the lawsuit, so the Americans continued their careers as Uncharted Shores. Both parties were happy with the name change, but outsiders said the decision was heavily influenced by the amount of money offered by the record label.
Harry Styles BISEXUALITY?
Harry Styles ’sexuality has been scrutinized more than once, as the singer is indeed attracted to his own gender, or at least bisexual, by bad language and even many fans. Styles doesn’t really deal with rumors and often shines ambiguous jokes, further shivering the mood.
